Maruti Suzuki To Hike Car Prices Starting April 2025

Maruti Suzuki India Pvt Ltd., the largest car manufacturer in India, has revealed plans to raise vehicle prices by up to 4% starting in April 2025. This decision comes in response to rising input costs and increasing operational expenses that are affecting the company’s profitability.
In a regulatory filing, Maruti Suzuki stated, "In light of rising input costs and operational expenses, the company has planned to increase the prices of its cars from April 2025. The price increase is expected to be up to 4% and will vary depending on the model."
"While the company is working hard to minimize the impact on its customers and streamline costs, some of the increased expenses must be passed on to the market," they added.
